That's where you'll take me... image
14.11.11,

tomorrow is officially the last day of my exchange programme. the last day of exams. the last day of being a UNSW student.

somehow... time passes kind of fast. like really really fast. because the scene on 9th July at 10pm in changi airport is still fresh in my head. what i wore. what my friends wore. who were there. and then poof, now i'm going to step back to changi airport again! back to my home sweet home. back to the marcus who is now a big boy.

and suddenly i feel wierd. like i've been by myself for 5months and then i'm going back to a house with my family, going back to a place where i won't be alone. not that i enjoy being alone but there's this sudden change in atmosphere and i think i will need a few days to adapt again.

i'm imagining the scene where i alight from the plane and back to the airport. over here i imagine me being overwhelmed with emotions. but probably i'll be so damn freaking tired from the plane, i just want to go back to my bed (THAT DOES NOT HAVE A DEPRESSION LIKE THIS DAMN MATTRESS THAT IS GIVING ME BACKACHES EVERYDAY HERE) and i want to go back to the days where i can sit and play with marcus or watch the tv.

sep, is a good experience i would say. experiencing the ups and ALOT of downs. all the major problems from project work and then solving them myself. the sense of satisfaction, the independence that i have confidently achieved, is worth the 15k that i have spent to come here. i think now i've learnt the value of kinship and friendship, how to tolerate some irritating people for 5 months, how to go back to the house knowing that there is no dinner on the table for me. i've grown up!

it's time to go back to blow my candles for hitting 21! i'm gona be an adult! and i want to do something wild to commemorate this day!!
