i signed up for this zoo cip thinggy tinking that this flag day will be held in the zoo. was super happy cuz i haven't been to the zoo for a long time PLUS i can go to the zoo FOR FREE. and help the animals by getting money for them -_-
then...it turned out that the cip was at nee soon east CC -_- -_- -_-
fine...
but this cip day will be the most memorable one ever.
wat happened:
- went to collect the tins and stickers first - which were super cute!!
- went to find a spot where 1) there are very few competitors 2) it's very crowded
- 40% of the pple "dao-ed" me... mostly old uncles and aunties
- majority of the pple who donated money for me are little kids who begged their parents to giv them money.
- 2 pple gav me $2 notes. =)
- this is the freakiest encounter i had: 1 old man whistled to me and jas to go over.. he gav each of us $1 and told us to paste the sticker for him!! one on each side of his ------ CHEST!!.
so gross.. but wat the hell.. no choice rite. he donated already. so we juz sort of use 1 finger to paste the sticker. (dun ask me how i did it)
- ok...after this freaky guy we went off... stationed outself at some other places. and things went on smoothly for about 2 hrs.
- then...this guy came back again!!! he came to me and jas and asked us if we wanted chocolates...
he said "you want choc? u all no water no food."
i said " NONONO!!"
he said " NAH..take take.." and stuffed some golden coin choc into my hands...
i ran off to jas...and jas told me to throw them away. cuz there was one person who told her that this siao siao person always goes around the neighbourhood. so we should throw away the food. ok. i did that.
- one kid kept grabbing money from her mum to come and take many many many stickers.
- it rained abit. for bout 10 mins. twice.
- one aunty selling some stuff at the market came and talk to me.. tell me her son was also doing this. and she kept walking around me and smiling at me. so sweet. =)
- saw sb throwing away newspaper. which was taken away somehow by somebody. and an old man returned it. WITH BLOODSTAINS ON IT!!! like the whole page was smudged with blood... then he kept wiping his hands on his pants.. i wonder why.
- i manage to kope some stickers. cuz it's the nicest flag day stickers i ever saw. not those cheapo cheapo kind with the organisation's logo printed on it.
went home. bus broke down. so suay.
but the sweet sms came so im fine with it. =)
other random stuff:
- i have to do gp essay now.
- and why does AJ hav to put teacher's day celebrations on a mon?? then i cant go back to my sec skool on fri cuz everyone will be gone. SO "NICE" OF AJ LAH...
