4 birdy babies now. last egg is nowhere to be seen. there isn't any 5th baby too. so i guess da egg has rot and somehow blend into the surroundings in da nestbox already.
gamma has kindly allowed me to see her babies. cuz wen i open da nestbox now, she doesnt really look like she wanna attack me. she juz stands at da door to make sure i do not like harm them or wat.=) i took some photos of da babies but my handphone is in my study room and im too lazy to walk 10m to take it so i shall post the pictures another day then.
happy happy cuz it's really a success. i mean 4/5 eggs hatched is good rite? and da babies so far looks quite healthy. da oldest one is really huge now. like 5 times the size when it was born. the last one to hatch is still kinda small. the wing is onli like a toothpick. so cute =)
when they open their eyes, im gonna take them all out of the nestbox and put them somewhere outside. cuz it STINKS LIKE HELL now. and i tink gamma abit cannot take the stench cuz she keeps making gubble do da feeding. she doesnt want to go into the nestbox la unless necessary (like to keep them warm).
daddy say we should hand feed the babies when they are 3 weeks old. mummy-fed babies are fierce and unfriendly. but i dun wan. cuz last time daddy bought 3 baby birds and they all died. i tink it's something wrong in the way we handfeed them. muz buy a syringe and pump into their mouths. maybe we pump too much, or too fast, or too little....... all of them couldn't last more than one week. heartpain. so now i won't dare to feed them myself anymore.
